Jane Kerr

Jane has spent the last twenty five years working with families and individuals in the private and voluntary sector. With a background in psychology, Jane retrained as a barrister in her twenties, later completing her solicitors exams. She has a wide knowledge of law and the family justice system and has seen first hand the difficulties that it can present for separating families.
Following her own divorce, Jane recognised the benefits that mediation had brought to her own family and completed her training as a family mediator.
Jane has a good commercial understanding of finances, having worked in investment banking in the city for a number of years. She also managed a large team for a leading London local authority for over ten years, offering guidance and support to families and individuals in crisis.
Jane previously ran her own mediation company and in 2018 she joined forces with the founding partners of Wells Family Mediation.
Jane is a trained child consultant and is highly experienced in dealing with complex financial and child issues cases. She is passionate about assisting clients to move forward from the difficulties of separation and divorce, helping them to focus on their children and taking small steps towards a more positive future.
